This is an optional feature for Rimaglio. With this kit, you can knit a 360° seam that secures the last course of the sock/tube leaving it open. This kit allows you to alternate 360° seam with regular toe-closing. It is particularly used in the production of knee pads and leg warmers.

This device retrieves the yarn from the cone and delivers it to the knitting head with constant and adjustable tension, eliminating all the tension irregularities originated by the cones. Consequently, the sizes of the socks are more consistent, and it will be possible to knit yarns by having low resistance. This device is recommended for machines with terry and needle count higher than 168.

This device retrieves the yarn from the cone and delivers it to the knitting head with a very precise, constant, and adjustable tension. In this way it eliminates all the tension irregularities originated by the cones. The feeding tension can be graduated during knitting by sending signals from an electronic board (Ultrafeeder preparation) through a serial line.
This device is indispensable for feeding bare Lycra.

It enables to retrieve the yarn during the heel. It only works with BTSR Ultrafeeder 2 and replaces the heel take-up.

The machine is equipped with a device that enables it to produce mesh patterns (also called filet stitch) in two feeds. The standard machine produces such mesh patterns in one feed only. This option is commonly used for the pantyhose, to shorten the production time.

This device can be installed on the machines with Rimaglio device and enables them to eject the sock inside-out. This is normally requested for an easier inspection of the socks.
With this special device it is possible to knit terry approximately 30% shorter than the standard.

This device stops the machine when the yarn is stuck, preventing it from tearing up. It is built so as not to make the machine re-thread after the stop.
BTSR yarn flow sensors
BTSR yarn flow sensors
This device consists in several sensors that electronically detect when the yarn is flowing and when it is steady. During the production of the first sock, the information about the yarn flow is stored into a memory on an electronic board (BTSR preparation). During the production of all the following socks, the device checks that the yarns flow with the same sequence as the first one. In case of any errors, the machine stops avoiding the production of second choice socks. The machine is equipped with 18 sensors as standard, you can request it with 6 or 24 sensors.

This device can be installed only on machines which cannot knit terry, and it enables knitting socks with a reinforcing yarn in the sole/high heel areas. The reinforcing yarn will be plated to the inside of the sock. It will also be possible to add a pattern on the reinforced area.

This device is necessary for feeding the elastic yarns without putting any radial pressure on the elastic yarn itself. They are normally used in the MEDICAL and MEDICAL TERRY machines. It can be associated with BTSR Ultrafeeder.
