Features

The BUSI® RIMAGLIO 3.0 device enables a typical classic linking to be achieved straight on the machine in a completely automatic way. The automated device is situated at the side of the knitting machine, it downloads the sock from the machine, after completion of the knitting operation, and it transfers the sock to the linking device, where it is sewn loop by loop. The sock is turned inside out, so that the linking remains on the inside of the sock, resulting in a perfect traditional-looking linking. After being sewn, the sock, already reversed to the right side, is removed from the machine and is ready for the next boarding operation.

Technical features
  • The machine uses standard latch needles, like regular machines.
  • The presence of a linking device in no way alters the features of the knitting machines on which it is fitted.
  • The quality of the sock is in no way altered, as the device starts its action only after the sock has been totally knitted, therefore not changing its features in any way.
  • The RIMAGLIO device does not limit neither the articles that can be produced nor the knitting speed.
  • The RIMAGLIO device can be installed on any of the BUSI® machines.
  • The RIMAGLIO device is fully automatic, thereby guaranteeing higher and constant quality standards.
  • The RIMAGLIO device eliminates a stage of work that is repetitive, exhausting and providing much strain on the eyesight of employees handling linking or hand-sewing processes.
  • The linking operation takes place at the same time as the machine knits a new sock, therefore guaranteeing no waste of time and an uninterrupted production.
