Features

BUSI® J TERRY is a high production single cylinder sock machine provided with latch needles in the dial and with a device for the selection of the terry loops to enable it to produce socks for men and children with true rib and selected terry. The machine is provided with full electronic control. The terry device enables the fully automatic switching from plain stitch to half terry and to full terry. It is also optionally available a terry device that enables the machine knitting the sandwich terry and the normal terry without any mechanical change. The machine is available with one or two feeds. The features of the two versions are listed in the table below.

Products that can be produced with BUSI® J TERRY
Being equipped with dial needles , machine model BUSI® J TERRY can knit true rib and selected terry socks. Being equipped with dial needles , machine model BUSI® J TERRY can knit true rib and selected terry socks. The high possibility of combination of BUSI® J TERRY makes it perfect to produce technical socks. The 3,25" diameter is indicated to knit newborn and children socks. Instead, bigger diameters, in different gauges, are suitable to produce men and women socks. It is possible to combinate the pattern with the true rib, together with the possibility to have parts of the sock with terry. It is possible to realize the plated stitch/mesh pattern with true rib and selected terry. It is possible to knit fabric with true rib and selected terry, both with plating yarn. It is possible to realize patterns up to 6 colours per course, plus the ground. With a total of 16 available colours, you can make complex patterns while keeping a good fit. With no need for mechanical setup, the machine can use the dial needles in order to knit the double welt. You can switch from plain knit to selected terry with only one programming change. With a specific optional device you can realize patterns up to 4 colours in the heel and in the toe, with plain knit and terry. Thanks to the installation of suitable optional devices, the machine can knit tights in wool or cotton.
