Control Tower is a web application which allows you to collect and analyze production data from your BUSI® knitting machines.
Control Tower helps you to get the answers to critical questions, such as:
The program receives the information from the connected machines through an Ethernet connection, built in to Signal hardware machines, and saves it into a local database of the main server.
The main server is a personal computer where the software Control Tower is installed.
The network is a simple Ethernet system (cabling, router, etc.).
Control Tower allows you to retrieve, store and then organise and analyse all the data received from the machines.
In a quick and easy way Control Tower allows you to display Key Indicators related to efficiency, number of stops, production performances, and others.
Production can be managed remotely by selecting the type of sock to manufacture or by connecting various items set in the machines (sock, size, quantity).
Files may be uploaded from the server onto the machine for production purposes or, the other way round, they may be downloaded from the machine (such as a locally designed article) to be stored in the server.
Control Tower also makes customised reports showing the overall state of the system and machines.
All reports can be printed in various formats (Pdf or Excel etc.).
The Control Tower database uses PostgreSQL, a powerful object-relational database system to store data safely and access it externally.
Therefore, Control Tower gives you full control, easy analysis and organisation of data, no matter how large they are, for more accurate and customised reports.
Control Tower is a Web application compatible with all major browsers (Firefox, Chrome, IE, Edge, Opera etc.), including mobile browsers.
Control Tower is also responsive: it can be adapted to the dimension and resolution of the device being used.
