BUSI GIOVANNI S.r.l. was established in 1958 by Giovanni Busi. The Company worked for a few years making the renovation and re-building service on existing machines also retrofitting them with its own patented device (Brebus).

In 1967 BUSI GIOVANNI S.r.l. produced its first single cylinder sock knitting machine with rib needle in the dial. From that moment, the production of the Company has been almost totally devoted to true rib machines. This allows us to claim having the widest experience in the market when speaking of this type of machine.

The first machine with electronic patterning  was produced in 1986 and starting from 1990 the production of fully electronically controlled machines was started.

At the present the firm covers an area of 2000 sqm. and it employs 35 persons.

Having a  growing export quote,  equal to the 90% of the total turnover and with a net of 30 agents all over the world, the firm is known as one of the most prestigious producers of single cylinder machines for men and children socks. 

Each machine is designed by experienced technicians and it is manufactured using the best available raw materials. All the parts are produced on last generation CNC machining centres thus guaranteeing a level of quality and duration above the average.

An extreme flexibility in projecting new models, acquainted thanks to the new CAD-CAM technologies that are massively used, allows the company to react quickly and precisely to the requests of the market and to get a wide and complete range of products.

As a confirmation of its technologically advanced position in the market, BUSI GIOVANNI S.r.l. has made available the LIN-TOE ^® device for the automatic toe closing since 1998 and it has been one of the first companies in the world offering his customers the new  (Classic linking) technology.

Thank to all this, over than to an extreme flexibility and attention to customize the product, the company has gained important market shares within those sock manufacturers that target their production to the highest quality.
